Choose one visitor action
Start with a concrete interaction: a visitor opens a menu, follows a button, submits an enquiry or changes a visible section. Select the relevant element in Studio and use its supported action or workflow controls.
Define the trigger first. Then choose the action and the target it should affect. Use the existing page elements and supported values shown in the editor; a label on the canvas is not necessarily a valid target identifier.
Add a scroll action
- Select the button or supported element and open Actions.
- Choose the trigger in When and select Scroll in Do.
- Set Destination to Page top, Page bottom or Section or block.
- For a section, use Choose a block to select the target with the element picker. Set Space above section when a sticky header would otherwise cover it.
- Choose Smooth or Instant movement, then test the action in preview. Reduced-motion preferences always use instant scrolling.
Organize a workflow and its state
For more involved behavior, use the workflow editor to connect the trigger and supported steps. Use workflow groups to organize related nodes and collapse a group when you need to follow the larger sequence. A group helps organize the editor; review the connections to understand what runs.
Choose elements through the picker so the action targets the intended block or dialog. When changing state, select the appropriate element state and value, then inspect the conditions that read that state. Test both the initial state and the result after the action. An action that opens a dialog should provide a clear way to close it and return to the page.
Page interactions operate within the website's supported workflow features. A lead webhook is a separate integration with its own limited delivery behavior; see Integrations and email.
Test before sharing
Save the page and use preview to activate the interaction. Check mouse and keyboard behavior where relevant, test on a narrow screen, and verify the destination or state after the action. Try the action twice to catch behavior that works only on the first click.
Publish the reviewed change, then repeat the visitor path on the public page. If the preview and public result differ, confirm the intended saved revision was published.
