Prepare products and connected payments

Check products, checkout readiness and order follow-up before selling.

Prepare the catalogue

Select the site and review its products. Add accurate names, descriptions, prices and images. Check the product presentation on the site so visitors can understand what they are buying before proceeding to checkout.

Keep product information consistent with the actual offer. If the purchase requires additional details, make sure the available fields and instructions explain them clearly.

Check payment readiness

Product sales require a connected Stripe account that is ready to receive payments. Open the payment setup controls and resolve any outstanding account requirements before expecting checkout to work.

Review the site's current selling terms. The nith transaction fee and payment processor charges are separate. Account-specific agreements can differ from the public offer, so use the billing and payment information shown for the relevant account.

Check the complete path

Review the public product page, the route into checkout and the order information your team will use afterward. Before making a payment, confirm whether the payment setup is in test mode. A real checkout can create a real charge.

After an order arrives, use the order-management view to inspect the customer request and payment state before fulfilling it. If a refund is needed, check the current refund and fee terms for that payment. Read Plans and billing for the distinction between site subscriptions and transaction fees.
